The treatment matters. The technology matters. But the person holding the syringe, the laser, the Hydrafacial wand, that's who determines whether you walk out looking like a slightly refreshed version of yourself, or someone you don't quite recognize.
At NECTAR, we built a team of seven around a single belief: your provider should know you by name, know your skin, and be the same person you see every visit. No handoffs. No rotation. No volume-practice shortcuts.
Here's who you'll meet when you walk through our doors in DeWitt.
What Makes a NECTAR Provider
Mid-Michigan's med spa landscape splits into two camps. On one side, corporate chains that treat aesthetics like an assembly line. On the other, solo esthetics studios with a warm feel but limited clinical scope. NECTAR exists in the space between: a boutique, clinically-led med spa where every provider is credentialed, continually trained, and chosen as much for their character as their resume.

Jessica Farhat, MSN, NP-C
Founder + Nurse Practitioner
The injector who signs every treatment plan.
Jess is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner with full prescriptive authority and extensive experience in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She has been a nurse since 2009, trained at both the University of Michigan and Michigan State University, and holds advanced certifications in injectables and non-surgical treatments. Jess founded NECTAR around a single idea: your injector should be your provider, every single visit. Her signature philosophy focuses on enhancing rather than altering, which is why guests describe her work as "quietly refreshed" rather than obvious.

Amber Moerland, RN, BSN
Nurse Injector
Over a decade of clinical experience, now bringing it to your face.
Amber is a Board-Certified Registered Nurse with over 13 years of diverse clinical experience and an artist's eye for aesthetics. She found her calling in dermatology while working in Maui, and she has since become one of only a handful of Mid-Michigan providers who are certified ZO® Skin Health Experts. At NECTAR, Amber specializes in injectables, microneedling, chemical peels, Hydrafacial®, and laser treatments. Her approach is rooted in education and balance, every plan starts with teaching you about your own skin.

Emilee Walters, LME
Master Esthetician
A decade across Cleveland, Beverly Hills, and D.C., now in DeWitt.
Emilee is a Master Aesthetician whose career has spanned more than a decade and some of the country's most demanding skincare markets. She is both a ZO® Skin Health Expert and a SkinPen® Ambassador, which means she represents the brands she uses at the national level. Her specialty is results-driven facial treatments done with a spa touch, Hydrafacial®, Dermaplaning, Microneedling, and Chemical Peels. Having overcome acne herself, Emilee brings genuine empathy to every guest struggling with their skin.

Olga Briseño, LME
Master Esthetician + Laser Specialist
50 years in skincare, and she came back for her guests.
With over 50 years in skincare, Olga is one of the most experienced skin specialists in Mid-Michigan. After a well-earned retirement, her passion for the craft and the guests she had come to know as friends brought her back to the treatment room. Olga specializes in advanced laser treatments at NECTAR, including BBL HEROic™ and MOXI® Laser Resurfacing on our Sciton® platform, two of the most powerful tools available for skin tone correction, pigmentation, and collagen stimulation.

Sadie VanHorn, LME
Esthetician + Wellness Specialist
Lymphatic drainage, holistic skincare, and the inside-out approach.
Sadie is NECTAR's wellness specialist and the provider our guests see when they want results that start from within. Trained in lymphatic drainage under a holistic doctor, her treatments are designed to support the body's natural detoxification, calm inflammation, and reveal that honey-lit glow that no serum alone can create. Her love for skincare started in middle school and deepened through her own experience with hormonal acne, which shapes how she builds custom plans for guests facing the same.

Jamie Wolvin, LMT
Guest Coordinator + Licensed Massage Therapist
The first face you see and the hands you leave in.
Jamie is unique on the NECTAR team. She is the first person you meet when you walk through our doors, and she is also the provider you meet in the treatment room. A graduate of Adrian School of Massage, Jamie specializes in deeply restorative massage and Brazilian Lymphatic Body Sculpting, a technique that blends lymphatic flow with intentional sculpting movements. She is currently completing her B.S. in Human Services at Spring Arbor University and plans to pursue aesthetic nursing next.

Amy Chard
Office Manager
The reason everything feels effortless.
Amy is NECTAR's Office Manager and the quiet architect of your guest experience. She brings over 15 years of experience in human resources, business management, and client relations, and she believes every interaction shapes how you feel about your visit. From the warmth of your check-in to the thoughtfulness of your follow-up, Amy's fingerprints are on every detail that makes NECTAR feel distinctly NECTAR.

Medical Oversight
All medical services at NECTAR are performed under the collaboration and guidance of our Medical Director, Dr. Randall Chube. His oversight ensures that every injectable protocol, laser setting, and clinical procedure meets the highest standard of patient safety and current best practice.
It's a layer of accountability most boutique med spas don't talk about publicly. We think you should know it's there.
The Team You'll Meet at Your First Visit
A first visit at NECTAR is a conversation first, a treatment second. Jamie welcomes you at the front desk and gets you settled. Amy makes sure everything runs on time. Your provider, whether that's Jess, Amber, Emilee, Olga, or Sadie, spends real time understanding your goals, your medical history, your lifestyle, and your skin.
Then, and only then, do we talk about treatment. Sometimes that's a conservative Botox® plan. Sometimes it's a Hydrafacial and a smart ZO® Skin Health routine. Sometimes we recommend waiting, or starting somewhere smaller than you expected.
