What is Juvéderm?

How long does Juvéderm last?
Results vary by product: Voluma XC in the cheeks lasts up to 2 years; Vollure XC for folds lasts up to 18 months; Volbella XC and Ultra XC in the lips last up to 12 months. Metabolism, lifestyle, and area all affect longevity.
Does Juvéderm hurt?
All Juvéderm products contain lidocaine, a local anesthetic, which significantly reduces discomfort. For lip treatments, topical numbing cream is applied beforehand. Most guests describe it as minimal — a brief pressure or pinch.

Is there downtime after Juvéderm?
Mild swelling and possible bruising for 2–5 days is normal, especially with lip filler. This resolves on its own. Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and blood-thinning medications for 24 hours before and after treatment.
