Where is NECTAR body•face•skin located?
We are located at 13060 Old U.S. 27, Suite C1, DeWitt, MI 48820 — conveniently accessible from Lansing, East Lansing, Okemos, St. Johns, Grand Ledge, and surrounding Mid-Michigan communities.
What are your hours?
We are open Monday through Thursday 10am–6pm and Friday 10am–5:30pm. Hours may vary on holidays.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book online at nectar.zenoti.com or contact us directly by phone or text at (517) 306-2510. For new guests seeking injectables or laser treatments, a consultation is required first.
Do you require a consultation before treatment?
Yes — for injectables, laser treatments, and microneedling, a consultation is required prior to your first treatment. This ensures your safety and allows us to design a plan specific to your goals. Facials, HydraFacials, and beauty services can typically be booked directly.
Is NECTAR a medical spa or day spa?
NECTAR is a medical spa. All medical treatments are performed or supervised by our licensed Nurse Practitioner (Jessica Farhat, MSN, NP-C) and Registered Nurse, under physician collaboration. Our aestheticians are licensed medical aestheticians.
What areas of Michigan do you serve?
We welcome guests from across Mid-Michigan including Lansing, East Lansing, DeWitt, Okemos, Haslett, St. Johns, Grand Ledge, Mason, Charlotte, Williamston, and beyond.
Injectables
How long does Botox last?
Botox and Xeomin typically last 3–4 months. With consistent treatments, many guests find results lasting longer over time.
What is the difference between Botox and Xeomin?
Both are neuromodulators that relax facial muscles. Xeomin contains no additives, which can be beneficial for guests who have developed resistance to Botox. Our providers will recommend the best option for you.
How long do dermal fillers last?
Juvéderm fillers typically last 9–18 months depending on the product and area treated. Lip filler metabolizes faster, while cheek and jawline filler often lasts longer.
Will I look natural after injectables?
Natural results are our philosophy. We use conservative amounts and focus on balance — enhancing your features rather than changing them.
HydraFacial
What does a HydraFacial do?
HydraFacial cleanses, exfoliates, extracts impurities, and infuses the skin with hydrating serums in one session. It addresses fine lines, congestion, dryness, and dullness with zero downtime.
How often should I get a HydraFacial?
Most guests see the best results with monthly treatments. Your provider will recommend a personalized cadence based on your skin goals.
Is there any downtime after HydraFacial?
No. HydraFacial has zero downtime. Your skin will look immediately refreshed and glowing.
Laser Treatments
What does BBL HEROic treat?
BBL HEROic targets sun damage, age spots, redness, broken capillaries, and overall skin tone. It can also improve skin texture and stimulate collagen.
What is MOXI laser?
MOXI is a gentle fractional laser ideal for maintaining skin health and addressing early signs of aging and sun damage — with minimal downtime of 3–5 days.
Is there downtime after laser treatments?
BBL typically involves 1–3 days of redness. MOXI may cause 3–5 days of bronzing as pigment rises to the surface. Both have minimal social downtime.
Microneedling
What does microneedling do?
Microneedling stimulates natural collagen and elastin production to improve skin texture, reduce acne scars, fine lines, and enlarged pores.
How many microneedling sessions do I need?
A series of 4–6 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart is typically recommended, with maintenance sessions every 3–6 months.
What is the benefit of adding PRP?
PRP amplifies collagen production using growth factors from your own blood — making results more dramatic and longer-lasting.
Skincare & Products
What skincare products does NECTAR carry?
We carry the full ZO® Skin Health line — medical-grade formulations developed by Dr. Zein Obagi. Products can be ordered online through our website or purchased in-office.
Do I need a prescription for ZO® products?
No prescription is required, but a chart on file with our office is needed for online orders to ensure the right products are recommended for your skin.
Can I order products without coming into the office?
Yes — existing guests can order online through our Order Products page. We offer complimentary shipping or in-office pickup.
