FOUNDER
Jessica Farhat, MSN, NP-C,
Jess is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. A graduate of both the University of Michigan and Michigan State University, she has been a nurse since 2009 and remains deeply committed to lifelong learning and patient-centered care.
With advanced training in injectables and non-surgical treatments, Jess is known for her artful, natural approach — creating refined, balanced results that honor each guest’s unique beauty. Her signature philosophy focuses on enhancing rather than altering, ensuring every outcome feels authentic and effortless.
As NECTAR’s founder, Jess has created a sanctuary for beauty and wellness — a space where expertise, compassion, and artistry come together to help each guest feel confident and renewed.
NURSE INJECTOR
Amber Moerland, RN, BSN
Amber is a Board-Certified Registered Nurse with over 13 years of diverse experience, combining a strong clinical background with an artistic eye for aesthetics. After discovering her passion for skincare and facial rejuvenation while working in dermatology in Maui, Amber has dedicated her career to helping guests feel confident in their skin. She is also a certified ZO® Skin Health Expert, allowing her to integrate results-driven skincare into every treatment plan.
At NECTAR, Amber specializes in injectables, microneedling, chemical peels, HydraFacial®, and laser treatments. Her approach is rooted in education, balance, and natural enhancement—ensuring each guest receives a personalized plan that feels authentic and empowering.
Outside of NECTAR, Amber embraces Michigan’s great outdoors — from camping and hiking to tending her garden. She treasures time spent with family and friends, bringing the same energy of care and connection to her personal life that she does to every guest she serves.

Amy Chard
As NECTAR’s Office Manager, Amy Chard blends over 15 years of experience in human resources, business management, and client relations with a passion for exceptional service. Her proactive leadership and focus on operational excellence empower the team to deliver the elevated, personalized care NECTAR is known for.
Amy believes every interaction shapes the guest experience. Her thoughtful, service-driven approach ensures each detail reflects NECTAR’s commitment to quality and care.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys cheering from the sidelines at her children’s sporting events, exploring Michigan’s four seasons, and creating lasting memories with her husband, Mark, and their four children.

Sadie VanHorn, LME
Meet Sadie, our wellness specialist with a passion for radiant, holistic beauty. Trained under a holistic doctor, she has mastered the art of lymphatic drainage, a technique that supports inner healing, detoxification, and natural glow. Sadie believes that true beauty begins within — and she enhances that journey with personalized, medical-grade skincare.
Her love for skincare started in middle school and deepened through her own experience with hormonal acne, inspiring her to help others achieve healthy, confident skin.
At NECTAR, Sadie creates custom treatment plans that integrate holistic practices with lymphatic health, empowering guests to look and feel their best from the inside out.
Beyond the treatment room, you’ll find Sadie soaking up lake days with family and friends, or staying active through weightlifting, Pilates, golf, and pickleball — always embracing wellness in every season.

Emilee Walters, LME
Emilee is a Master Aesthetician with experience spanning over a decade and across cities like Cleveland, Beverly Hills, and Washington, D.C. She specializes in results-driven treatments — including Hydrafacial, Dermaplaning, Microneedling, and Chemical Peels — blending medical-grade precision with a relaxing spa touch.
As a ZO® Skin Health Expert and SkinPen Ambassador, Emilee is passionate about helping clients achieve healthy, confident skin. Having personally overcome acne, she brings empathy, education, and trust to every treatment.
Outside NECTAR, Emilee enjoys time with family, reading, and exploring her creative side through art.
